About
Offset and Digital Brochures printing service
Below are the specifications for providing finalized files suitable for printing:
- Brochures must include a 2mm bleed beyond the final dimensions.
- Convert all fonts used in the brochure to paths or curves.
- Ensure all colors are in CMYK or Grayscale format; avoid using RGB, PMS, Pantone, or Spot colors.
- Flatten any transparency effects applied.
- Adjust overprints appropriately to achieve the desired outcome.
- Remove any color profiles associated with the files.
- Ensure all bitmap images have a minimum resolution of 300dpi and are in CMYK mode.
- Use a minimum 7pt font size for reversed type (light text on a dark background).
- Provide individual PDF files instead of multi-page documents, as we prefer to handle the imposition process ourselves.
- Keep borders and type within a safe zone to account for potential variations during trimming.
- Remove any non-printing items such as registration marks, keylines, and dielines.
- If crop marks are necessary, position them outside the bleed area; otherwise, crop registration marks are not required.
These guidelines ensure that the supplied files meet the necessary standards for high-quality printing.
Terms and Conditions:
- Print colors may vary between print runs, jobs, or even within a single job.
- A reasonable tolerance for color variation between the original sample or proofs and the final printed product is acceptable for quality assurance.
- Clients should be aware of potential differences between on-screen colors and the actual printed result.
- No reprints will be provided at the supplier’s expense due to color variations.
- Acceptable discrepancies may be up to 10% from the specified CMYK color values.
- Pantone colors will not be matched or printed; they will be automatically converted to the nearest CMYK values.
